Dominant Performance Secures 12th Consecutive Victory

Max Verstappen's reign at the top of Formula 1 continues as he cruises to victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver, who started the race from pole position, led from start to finish, extending his team's winning streak to 12 consecutive races. Verstappen's teammate, Sergio Perez, finished second, completing a 1-2 finish for the Austrian team.

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton finished third, ahead of Ferrari's Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc. George Russell of Mercedes and Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin rounded out the top six.

The race was largely uneventful, with Verstappen controlling the pace from the front. The only major incident occurred early in the race when Pierre Gasly's AlphaTauri crashed heavily, bringing out the safety car. The race was subsequently red-flagged, allowing the barrier to be repaired.

With his victory, Verstappen extends his championship lead over Perez to 80 points. Leclerc is now third in the standings, with 146 points, and Sainz is fourth with 136 points.
