The Acolyte: A New Star Wars Series is Coming to Disney+

Disney+ has announced a new Star Wars series called The Acolyte, which will take place 100 years before the events of the prequel trilogy.

The series will follow a Jedi Master who is tasked with investigating a crime spree that is threatening the Republic.

The Acolyte has been created by Leslye Headland, who previously worked on the Netflix series Russian Doll. The cast of the series includes Amandla Stenberg, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Joonas Suotamo.

The first two episodes of The Acolyte will premiere on Disney+ on June 4, 2023.
